Delete Yourdeliv.online pop-ups

Yourdeliv.online is one of many questionable websites that try to trick users into subscribing to advertisements. The site is essentially pushing a social engineering scam, and you’ll see a browser pop-up appear saying “Yourdeliv.online wants to show notifications” when you get redirected to it. If you press “Allow”, you will be spammed with ads, which will appear on your desktop.

Yourdeliv.online is essentially identical to countless other websites, and they’re all created for the same reason, and that’s to trick users into agreeing to be spammed with ads. When you get redirected to the site, your browser will display an alert saying Yourdeliv.online wants to show notifications, and if you press “Agree”, you will start seeing advertisements on your desktop. The site itself is quite suspicious, so it’s likely that its ads will be much worse. What’s even more worrying is that those ads may purposely be made to appear like they’re legitimate system notifications, and confusing them would not be difficult for unsuspecting users as they appear at a similar place. And this may lead to serious malware infections.

While it may not appear so, this “show notifications” feature does have legitimate uses. Questionable sites like Yourdeliv.online merely misuse it to spam users with ads. But if you allow a legitimate site you frequent to show you notifications, you would be shown content you’re interested in on your desktop. For example, if you allow a news site to show you notifications, you will be shown important news stories. So the feature does have its uses. And you can always revoke this permission when you get tired of them. Instructions to help revoke the permission will be placed at the very bottom of the report.

In order to stop the redirects, you need to determine what’s causing them. It’s either adware, or you were redirected by high-risk sites you visit. We recommend you scan your computer with anti-virus software, such as Wipersoft, to determine whether you have adware installed.

Adware distribution methods

If you are redirected to Yourdeliv.online and similar sites when browsing certain websites, it’s likely the sites that are to blame. When browsing certain websites that have questionable ads, it’s necessary to have adblocker enabled. The adblocker would either prevent the redirects altogether or at least close the windows when they pop-up.

However, if you are redirected even when browsing safe sites, your computer is probably infected with adware. Adware is a pretty minor infection because it doesn’t directly harm the computer, but it’s annoying one. It usually installs alongside free software without users even noticing. When something is attached to a free program, that something can install alongside automatically, unless you manually stop this from happening. If you want to prevent the unwanted installations, always install freeware in Advanced (Custom) settings. Those settings will make the hidden extra offers visible, and you will be able to deselect them. All you have to do is uncheck the boxes of those offers, and they will be prevented from installing. It’s recommended that you do this whenever you install a free program and deselect all offers, because otherwise, your computer will be filled with junk.

Yourdeliv.online removal

The first thing you should do if you get redirected to questionable websites is scan your computer with anti-virus software, such as WiperSoft. If the adware is present, the anti-virus program will remove it, which will stop the redirects.
