Ejustasgrea.fun is identical to countless other websites, such as Rviewatyour.biz. They look the same and they have the same intention, which is to spam you with ads. They do that by misusing a legitimate browser feature that allows sites to show notifications. This feature is used by many websites, particularly news, as it’s a convenient way to keep users informed about stories, updates, etc. The notifications appear on the desktop. For example, if you allow a news websites to show you notifications, it will show you alerts about important news stories on the desktop, without you needing to visit the site. This can be dangerous because some of those ads may be harmful, meaning you could end up being tricked into downloading something malicious.
To determine whether you need to do anything to remove Ejustasgrea.fun redirects, you need to check your computer for adware. If it is adware, you’d need to get rid of it to stop the redirects. You will also need to revoke the site’s permission to show notifications, if you have given it. The last section of the report will explain how.
Reasons why you are redirected to sites like Ejustasgrea.fun
Whenever you get randomly redirected to sites like Ejustasgrea.fun, it’s either adware installed on your computer that’s causing it, or you clicked on something when browsing high-risk websites.
Certain sites are considered to be high-risk due to the ads and content they host. For example, sites that have pornography or pirated content usually have more than questionable ads, which if clicked could redirect you to sites like Ejustasgrea.fun. To stop this from happening, install adblocker. It’s also a good idea to have anti-virus software installed.
When you get redirected constantly and it happens out of the blue, you may have adware installed. Adware is pretty harmless, in the sense that it doesn’t try to directly harm the computer. It mainly focuses on exposing you to advertisement content. Adware usually installs via free software bundling, meaning it comes attached to free software as an extra offer. When offers are attached to a program, they are permitted to install alongside without requiring any additional permission. They are technically optional but because they’re initially hidden, a lot of users simply don’t notice them. To make them visible you need to use Advanced (Custom) settings when given the option during freeware installation. Those settings will also allow you to deselect all offers.
If you were randomly redirected when browsing questionable sites, just close the window and use adblocker when browsing such sites in the future. However, if it’s adware that’s the problem, you need to get rid of it to delete Ejustasgrea.fun redirects. This isn’t difficult to do, especially if you use an anti-virus program like WiperSoft. Once the adware is gone, the redirects will stop. However, if you permitted the site to show you notifications, you will need to remove Ejustasgrea.fun from the list of sites with permission. Below are instructions on how to do that if you don’t know how.
- For Mozilla Firefox: Open menu (the three bars top-right corner) -> Options -> Privacy & Security. Scroll down to Permissions, press on Settings next to Notifications, and remove Ejustasgrea.fun.
