– How to remove? – How to remove?

About this hijacker is a browser hijacker, completely identical to many other hijackers. In fact, if you have had a hijacker before, there’s a good chance that it looked exactly like this one. And if you have encountered a hijacker before, that means you have not learned your lesson when it comes to installing freeware. Browser hijackers are attached to free software as extra offers and in order to prevent them from installing, you need to deselect them. If you fail to do so, you will end up with all kinds of unwanted programs on your system. Hijackers are not malicious by themselves but they are annoying because they change browser’s settings and then try to redirect you to sponsored websites. If you are not careful, you could even end up with malware on your computer. You need to delete to protect your computer.

Why remove

As soon as the hijacker enters your system, it will change your browser’s settings and set its domain as your homepage, new tabs and search engine. When this happens, it’s futile trying to alter the settings back as the hijacker would just change them again after you. Thus, you’d need to first uninstall and then make modifications. If you fail to do so, every time you open your browser, be it Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, you will be taken to a different from usual home website. Like many other identical hijacker websites, this one has links to a couple of websites like Amazing, Gmail, Yahoo, etc., as well as a search engine. If you were to use the search engine, you’d be taken to Saferbrowser Yahoo Search, where you could encounter sponsored content. Hijackers insert sponsored sites into the results so that you would be redirected to them and they could generate income. Some results might even lead to malware so be cautious. We strongly suggest you delete

You allowed the hijacker to install yourself when you were installing freeware. It was attached to free software as optional items that you can choose to install. However, they are set to install so if you do not notice them during installation, they will install. To be able to deselect them and thus prevent installation, you need to choose Advanced (Custom) settings and uncheck all the boxes of the additional offers. You can then proceed to install the freeware. It’s much easier to prevent installations than it would be to remove removal

To be able to fully uninstall, we suggest you get anti-spyware software. The program would find where the hijacker is hiding and get rid of it for you. If you choose to go with manual removal, you will need to find the hijacker yourself, and that could take more time.
