Stop Ralemploay.space redirects

Ralemploay.space is a fake movie update website that pushes a social engineering scam to trick users into allowing ads on the desktop. If you visit the site, you will get a browser alert saying “Ralemploay.space wants to show notifications”. If you click “Allow”, you will see intrusive notifications on your desktop. Interacting with them is not a good idea because they are not safe.

Ralemploay.space is a very generic website, and practically identical to Mportantly.online, Terestedine.online, Eveicanma.online, and Whenwem.online. The site is made to appear like it’s an entertainment site about movies but it doesn’t have any content. When you get redirected to it, you will immediately get a browser alert saying “Ralemploay.space wants to show notifications”. If you click “Allow”, the site will start spamming your desktop with ads. Do not interact with those notifications because you may be tricked into downloading potentially unwanted or even malicious programs if you’re not careful. If you did give the site permission to show notifications, revoke that permission as soon as possible. Directions will be provided at the very end of the report if you don’t know what to do.

It should be mentioned that despite sites like Ralemploay.space misusing this feature, it’s completely legitimate and safe to use. As long as the site you want to give permission to is legitimate, you can safely allow it to show notifications. Whenever you no longer want to see the notifications, you can revoke the site’s permission at any time in your browser’s settings.

Because it’s possible an adware infection is triggering the redirects, it’s important that you determine why you’re redirected to Ralemploay.space. The easiest way to check would be to use anti-virus software like WiperSoft to scan the computer. If no infection is detected, the sites you visit are likely the issue. Either stop visiting high-risk websites or install an adblocker program.

Redirects may be caused by an adware infection

There are two possible reasons for redirects to sites like Ralemploay.space, either your computer has adware installed or you visit high-risk websites that trigger the redirects. For example, sites that have adult or pirated content will have advertisements that could trigger redirects if clicked on. It’s recommended that you avoid visiting high-risk websites or at least install an adblocker program to block the redirects and intrusive advertisements. It’s also a good idea to have an anti-virus program installed.

If you are redirected to random websites even when visiting safe sites, your computer may have an adware infection installed. It should be noted that adware is not considered to be a particularly dangerous infection because it mainly focuses on exposing you to as many advertisements as possible instead of trying to harm your computer. However, adware is rather annoying to deal with because it constantly interrupts your browsing. Adware, browser hijackers, potentially unwanted programs, and other similar infections usually install using the software bundling method, which essentially means that they come added to free software as additional offers. Whatever comes attached to a program is permitted to install alongside without requiring any additional permission from you. The offers are optional but they need to be manually deselected to prevent their installation. Most users are unable to do that simply because they do not see the offers as they are hidden. Keep in mind that the majority of free programs, particularly ones you download from unofficial websites, will come with these added offers. And if you frequently install free programs, you need to learn to install them correctly because otherwise, your computer will be filled with junk in no time.

Choosing Advanced or Custom settings when installing freeware is the most important part of the process. You may notice that the installation window recommends using Default settings but if you follow this advice, the added offers will be permitted to install without your permission. However, the offers will be made visible in Advanced settings. If something is attached to the program, deselect it/them. Multiple offers may be attached to the same program but you should deselect them even if they seem useful at first glance. No legitimate program will use software bundling to install because it’s a sneaky installation method that allows programs to bypass users’ permission. Most programs that use software bundling are detected as potential threats by anti-virus programs. And it’s much easier to uncheck a couple of boxes than it is to have to uninstall persistent programs.

If you don’t know what to do, you can use the directions provided below. In addition to Ralemploay.space, you should remove all other unknown websites from the list.

  • For Mozilla Firefox: Open menu (the three bars top-right corner) -> Options -> Privacy & Security. It’s important to find out why your browser redirects you to sites like Ralemploay.space, thus we recommend you perform a scan of your computer with an anti-virus program like WiperSoft. It’s easiest to detect and get rid of adware using anti-virus programs, even if adware is not a serious infection and could be gotten rid of manually. If adware is what triggered the redirects, they will stop once you get rid of it.

If no adware is detected, the issue may be with the sites you visit. If the redirects happen only when you visit particular websites, either avoid visiting those sites or install an adblocker program. It would stop the redirects completely or at the very least, close them as soon as they pop up. An adblocker would also help deal with ads in general as it would block the intrusive ones.
